School Stuff

Hayley is learning about mammals, frogs and reptiles and Troy is learning about insects .. so we went to the museum on Saturday.

There was a HUGE queue so we went in the side gate and avoided everyone.  Cool no waiting :)	We look weird because the insects were really disgusting!

There was cool stuff going on about how the planet was made	And dinosaurs of course!
This is the biggest mammal ever.. we're standing beside a blue whale can you see his eye at the top!	This is a picture of a salamandar .. a frog with a tail!  Gross!

On the way home mum bought us some cakes .. Troy got one with a ladybird because he was studding insects!   It was pretty tasty!

Connemara

This is the West of Ireland ... we were staying in a place called Moyard. It's got one post office and lots of sheep and our mums friend Claire (and her family).  Claire and Mum were friends since school.   :)

Can you see Hayley and Troy ?

Not too many traffic jams around here!

Tractor

There's lots of animals on the farm.  Apart from the Connemara ponies there's doves, hens and sheep who are just about to have their lambs.  The first one was born while were there!  Lucky.

Gallos

Ovejas

To do the work on the farm you need a tractor ... Ash took us for a drive .. really cool!

Hayley found some 'droppings'

Keeping on the trail

In the end .. Hayley saw the 'does' in the distance (hembras)... while the deers just kept an eye on what we were up to.  :)

Growing Stuff

In Shanbolard (where we were staying in Connemara, Ireland) they have a polytunnel.  This is a big plastic tunnel that keeps the plants warm in cold weather .. it's why we can have strawberries all year round, not just in the summer.
We picked some carrots and something called Bok Choy which is sort of Chinese cabbage.

Beside the tunnel are some bee hives ... Hayley had Claire's bee suit on just in case!

Beach n' surf

We went to Renvyle a place in Connemara - which is a place in the west of Ireland.  It's wild and wonderful .. even more remote than Tarifa.    It was quite chilly, but the twins - Duncan and Josh - went for a surf on Friday.   We stayed in our coats and climbed rocks with mum.  Claire was the lifeguard.

Trekking by the beach ...	That's us in the distance .. getting comfortable to watch the surfing
Checking the direction of the wind!	Keeping warm by Mum
See the dots .. that's us Hayley and Troy	Brrrrrrrr .. Frio!   Duncan with his surfboard and map of Ireland on the top.

Off to Ireland - Airport

We were up at 6am excited to be going to the West of Ireland.   Even tho' it was early we were having too much fun to think about being tired.

Hayley, Troy and 'Trunkie'	Troy hitches a ride on Hayley's hand luggage!
Can I check in my Brother please!	Krispy Kreme Donuts for Breakfast yeayyyyy!
