Halloweeeeeeeeeen! Boo!

We went to a cool party in a place called Nippa Hut lots of our friends went. They had so many sweets and cakes and crazy spiders, toads, monsters and games .. and then more sweets. Mum made us drink water for the whole next day in case we turned into lollypops!

Not quite Halloween

There's no half term in Spain for Halloween - which didn't matter so much as we got our first chill in the air. So after school we played in doors and waited until we could open our chocolate pumpkins

The sea was so clear .. that there were dolphins swimming near by!  It was just the best day.  It's still hard to believe we have school the next day!

Napoleon

The castle in Tarifa had invaders this weekend! 
Long ago the Guzman el Bueno Castle in the town became home to Spanish troops, who, along with the British, defended the tower from Napoleon's army in 1811-1812.
So today they reenacted the battle.  It was reeeeally loud!

Cycling Adventure

Now that Troy can cycle - we went for our first cycle all together.  We had SO much fun. Mum was nearly more excited than we were.  Troy went crazy and wouldn't stop cycling. .. on and on and on ..... Troy .. come back!

On our way to our swimming class, Troy took my bike and cycled!  All on his own.  
Me and mummy couldn't believe it! (woops can you see what happened when Troy cycled behind the tree!)

Now we can cycle to swimming all the time.  More fun than taking the car ..

Farm Feria

We went to see the Farm Fair at the end of town. The bulls were 'ginormous'. The goats started fighting - which was a bit scary, but the horses were so lovely. It was great to see them all so close up.

Surfing weekend

It was cloudy on the weekend - so we put on our wetsuits and took the to waves. Troy was too busy thinking he was spiderman to take the waves too seriously!

Windmills

When Uncle John and Clionadh were visiting we went up to the windmills.  These are special windmils - they are not the ones "that make toast" as Troy will inform you!  They make electricity.  They're HUGE.  It's scary going up there as they make really spooky noises.  If you stand underneath them and stare at them from the ground - you fall over!  Which is really good fun!

There's not just windmills up on the hills - because they're still farms.  So this guy reminded us!

Amigos - Nia and Caden

Our friends Nia and Caden came to visit last week.  They live on Costa del Sol.  And we live on Costa del la Luz.  Cost of sun, Cost of Light.

Dune Time
