Notting Hill Carnival.

The Notting Hill Carnival is different to other Carnivals in that it's a celebration of the Caribbean way to party.  There's not just floats but something called sound systems which are BIG piles of speakers that s-h-a-k-e you down to your bones.  It was so much fun!

We went with our cousins on the first day.  We were representing our family Island - Grenada.  And they were representing Jamaica.  Troy wore his Grenada suit that his grannie Sam made.

There's LOADS of people	Dancing and laughing with each other even the police
Dancing in the street and on stage	Even the babies have headphones.
People really dressed up	And wore their costumes all day
Even the sailors were dancing	The floats were like you could not have imagined

Then there was us!  We went on a float.  It rained on the sunday for a short while so Troy went in the float while everyone danced in the rain behind.  Nothing stopped us!    Sunday was family day.  And this is some of our family that were there.
